  1. Hmmm, will we ever know for ourselves whether Lauren’s Twitter site is genuine or not?? There’s absolutely nothing to suggest it is or isn’t still! The only possible tell tale signs that it might be fake are the pooor use of grammar affixed to the foot of what look like mostly self taken photos of her! For one who comes across as being so well spoken like Lauren, then I doubt that her written grammar would be that of the opposite to her speech. Still, who are we to say??! One of those to file under ongoing and infinite frustration me thinks re her Twitter site being for real or fake…..! :-/

    • apparently its fake, or that’s what a few people have since told me. She has some discussion with Adam Woodyatt about whether its real, and he says ‘nice try’. Also there is no mention of the ministry of chance only the well known stuff. Btw have you checked out the podcasts Guy? what do you think?

      • Nah, not yet re the podcast, I should hope to before long though! Re Lauren C’s Twitter page, I too have heard a mixture of different stories…..with the Adam Woodyat version firmly ticking the “fake” box! Yet either Lauren or someone she knows must be getting what are most obviously her own photos that she looks to have taken of herself for the most part, on a mobile phone camera – and putting them on this real/fake site! The comments below are more like somebody who doesn’t command very good written english though, which is perhaps a bit of a giveaway to the imposter matter! It’s still remains a mystery though really. I mean why would somebody want to impersonate someone else so accurately, what is their motivation in life for doing so?!

      • Good glad you will be checking it out. LOL That’s what I was thinking, why would someone want to spend months or even years pretending to be someone else on Twitter or Facebook, especially spending so much time to get photos etc. But I’m really starting to doubt it’s her, I think Adam Woodyat would know, he may even have asked her before doing that.

  2. i have been trying to decide whether or not that Lauren’s twitter page is fake but there are lots of quite personal photos of herself on there and on a made up facebook account as well. I mean if it is fake then where are these photos coming from?. Even though the grammar isn’t fantastic – it is the photos is worryingme at the moment. But you never know

    • that’s exactly what I thought, but then what she says about her job history isn’t matching up apparently, so it’s looking like its not her.

  3. ……..Artwork by Lee Sullivan. If you were going to spend 1.49 today or any day for that matter then I highly recommend you spend it on of ..Officially released today The Minister of Chance is a masterfully produced audio drama from the UK. .The Minister of Chance is a work of wonderful science fiction in which science has been outlawed in favour of magic scientists are imprisoned by the ruling magic class in order to fashion weapons of mass destruction and war has broken out. Listening to The Minister of Chance I never got bored as it allowed me to wander and drift into the world of Tanto and drink up the atmosphere.

  4. A strong cast includes Jenny Agutter as an outlawed scientist who ends up making missiles for the occupying regime and Lauren Crace as Kitty a brilliantly stroppy stubborn young woman who ends up on a dangerous quest on the side of science. If plot-wise it feels a tad familiar its distinguished by some excellent production that creates vivid evocative soundscapes that drive forward the mood and suspense.
