The National Television awards were held today and Lacey Turner walked away with the award for best serial performance. EastEnders were not so lucky as the missed out to Corrie for the award for best serial drama that was voted for by the public.

Congrats to Lacey on her award. It was well deserved.
As far as Eastenders getting snubbed, they got exactly what they deserved. Aside from Danielle’s story and Stacey’s bi-polar experiences, EE has given us nothing but drivel.

Lauren has filmed a part in the BBC drama Sherlock, starring Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch. In soapland they’re parted by death, but in real life Lauren remains firm friends with Samantha Janus and was a bridesmaid at her wedding last year.
